DAY 21: ECCLESIASTES
“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;” (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2)
Dear Christian,
There is a season for everything.
In our fast paced technology driven world, we tend to believe the lie that we can accomplish anything at any given time. But the Lord reminds us that there is a rhythm and order to life, designed by God for our wellbeing and for His glory.
In the chaos of our lives, Ecclesiastes reminds us to pause, reflect, and recalibrate our lives to align with God’s timing and purpose. It reminds us that true fulfillment is not found in the busyness of life but in deep, abiding relationship with our Creator.
Changing seasons reminds us of our humanity. It can teach us patience, resilience, trust, and faithfulness as we navigate changing circumstances. Contrary to what culture would like us to believe, we cannot do everything all at once. And I hope that it frees you from having to set unrealistic goals for the season you are in.
There is time for every matter under heaven. Instead of fighting our seasons, let’s learn to embrace it and to lean on God every step of the way.
Love,
Patsy
